(Lame title is lame, I know, I couldn’t think of anything else. Well, it’s not lame, but I’m not sure it matches the atmosphere of the picture. I do ♥ that line.)

Man this piece took me foreverrrrr. I almost gave up hope once or twice, but managed to force my way through. Glad I did, ‘cause I’m quite pleased with the result. I mean yeah, it’s not perfect, there are issues (but I won’t point them out in case nobody notices lol), but I like it regardless. :) I wanted to draw a kissing pic for them, but I didn’t want to deal with the controversy over Tali’s appearance, so I picked a pose that would mostly hide her face and allow for her hood to still be on. For what you can see of her face, I mostly went with canon, but with some added nose ridges (I like them, ngl!). I also originally meant to do a detailed background, but I left it like this because I think the simple background works better. And I don’t usually add borders around my art, but…IDK, it just, looks nicer. I kept toggling it on and off and I liked it more this way. :) As you can likely tell from Shepard’s Cerberus uniform, this is kind of meant to take place in ME2—I imagine shortly after the Tali!Pounce, haha. ^^

A final note: this was done on many layers in a much less organized way than I normally paint (that was kind of an accident), and while it looks fine on my monitor, I really hope there’s no glaring gaps or “unfinished” spots leaking through on anybody else’s monitors. D: If there is, aaaaccccckkk, sorry. :(

“So much space, walls of stone… It’s amazing. I wish my friends could see it. I wish Shepard were here.”

I know there wasn’t actually a hologram/image of Tali during that log entry, but that’s the line that gave me this initial idea. Actually, it’d been so long since I’d played the game that I thought there was a holo image of her, and upon a recent playthrough discovered there wasn’t. D’oh! But I was set on making this happen regardless, so there you have it. It can be that line, or the actual conversation later from in game, or your own situation entirely that you’d like to imagine. :)

This took 5 days, roughly, and I used 5 different references. 3 for Shepard, 1 for Tali, and 1 for the background. I’ve been told the perspective on Shepard looks off (mainly his head in relation to his body) but after staring at it for so long I admit I don’t quite see it. But if that’s the case, then, oops, and I’ll have to keep that in mind for the future. Maybe when I look at this again in a week I’ll see it. :P

Aside from that though I have to say I’m really extremely happy with how this came out! I hope to start doing more of these images that are more of my own, rather than just drawing exactly what I see. And more Shepard/Tali, of course. :D I already have my next idea planned for them. Here’s hoping it goes well. Anyway! Hope you guys like. :)

Companion piece to A Quarian and Her Captain.

I’ve been replaying ME1 and I was in the mood for drawing more Shepard/Tali, so this happened. I think Shepard’s face took me the longest out of the whole thing. His chin/lip area gave me a lot of trouble, lots of readjusting and redrawing, gah. I guess it’s a good thing I saved it for last!

Next time I draw them it’ll have to be something other than one of them staring at the other, lol.

Yaaay Shepard/Tali art! W00t! (BRB sobbing all over them.) I adore them, and I’ve always loved this shot (the whole mission really), so it was fun to paint it. Did some stuff with color I haven’t done before, so that was neat.

I had to kind of wing Shepard’s armor ‘cause the reference screenshot I had he was in a different armor set, and I wanted to paint him in the default N7 armor, so apologies for any glaring inaccuracies. (Er, I know I colored his helmet wrong. Didn’t realize this until too late and didn’t want to change it.)

I need to draw more of them. ♥ And play this game again!
